Product introduction
Ultrasonic Scalpel Transducer.
Product feature and application
Ultrasonic scalpel transducers typically utilize the inverse application of the Piezoelectric Effect (known as the inverse piezoelectric effect):
**Electrical Signal Input:** The ultrasonic generator (main unit) generates a high-frequency alternating current (AC) signal (typically at a frequency of approximately 55.5 kHz or 47 kHz).
**Piezoelectric Conversion:** Piezoelectric ceramic elements located within the transducer are driven by this high-frequency electric field, generating rapid mechanical deformation (microscopic expansion and compression).
**Vibration Amplification:** These minute mechanical deformations coalesce into high-frequency longitudinal mechanical vibrations; the amplitude of these vibrations is then amplified by a horn before being ultimately transmitted to the blade.
Ultimately, the blade executes micron-scale ultrasonic vibrations at a frequency of approximately 55,500 times per second, causing the water within the contacting tissue to vaporize and the proteins to denature, thereby achieving the effect of "simultaneous cutting and coagulation."
